Success with ONE Launch a Year, Only 30 Seats, And a Huge Waiting List
- High-touch, premium group programs can work well with limited launches
- Pre-sell, and always have a waiting list for your next launch
- Start by teaching just one person, and learn from their struggles—don't assume
- Work closely with a small group of people before creating a self-study course
How To Craft Magnetic Learning Outcomes
- The biggest challenge often isn't what to include, but what NOT to include
- Start with learning outcomes; it'll help you focus on relevance + improve sales copy
- Remove anything that doesn't directly contribute to those learning outcomes
To help you design your learning outcomes, answer these 3 questions:
- What will students be able to do by the end of your course? (think skills)
- What will students know by the end of your course? (think knowledge)
- How will students feel by the end of your course? (think emotions/attitudes)
How to Structure Your Online Course for Success
- Research the competition—take note of what's working well and what's not
- Ask for feedback early, while creating your course, not just when you're done
- Set small and manageable goals, with something to learn from every lesson
- Keep it short—share the info your students need in as little time as possible
- Create a community—encourage discussions
- Include additional resources for further learning
